With more than 26 years of experience in the construction industry, David has held positions ranging from field laborer to superintendent all the way up to owning Accu-Crete and several other companies. Over his long career, primarily after the founding of Accu-Crete, David has been involved in the construction of more than 500 projects and has been responsible for the successful completion of the vast majority of those projects. With a primary focus on the multi-family housing industry, David has a deep background in concrete on both the technical and the operational sides of the business.
Rebecca Yan leads design efforts with valued clients, as well as preconstruction and constructability processes. She is responsible for the Southeast and part of Mid Atlantic operations. Her focus is a safe work environment, timely delivery of high-quality product to our customers, team building and procedures implementation. Rebecca earned her BA in Engineering Physics, Minor in Computer Science from Tsinghua University and a Master’s Degree for Management Science and Engineering from Stanford. She is a member of the American Concrete Institute and Associated Builders and Contractors of Metropolitan Washington. She enjoys all sports, especially golf and skiing.
Dan Hand, Vice President, has been with Accu-crete for 18 years and has over 46 years of experience within the industry. Dan attended both University of Tennessee and University of Houston and is also a member of United States Army Security Agency. Dan has been actively engaged in the construction industry for in excess of 35 years during which time he has worked on more than 200 projects, taking a large number of them from site work all the way through certificate of occupancy. In his present role, Dan oversees the on-site concrete production for all of Accu-Crete’s crews, using his vast experience to manage the logistics that arise in running multiple jobsites simultaneously.
